EV Battery Health & Degradation Estimator

Estimate your EV battery’s remaining health and range based on age, mileage, climate and fast-charging habits.

About this estimate

Modern EV batteries typically lose around 1–2% of capacity per year, with the loss faster in the first year, in hot climates and with heavy DC fast charging. This tool applies those rules of thumb to give a rough state of health.

It is not a diagnosis. For a real figure use the car’s battery-health screen or a professional battery test, especially before buying a used EV.
